Find and request help
Discover providers by service and place, request work directly or from eligible providers, and retain a clearer record of the request lifecycle.
Nyumba Services is an Android-first local-services marketplace for customers and providers. It begins with discovery and tracked service requests; its direction is to deepen the quality, accountability and operational usefulness of the provider network before expanding too quickly.
Status: The pilot covers Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa. Provider profiles, booking/request flows and business-facing sourcing exist today. “Trusted” describes a product goal and accountable workflow—not a blanket guarantee about any independent provider.

Customers can find providers, create requests, follow booking state, communicate after acceptance, review completed jobs and report issues. Providers manage requests and availability in the native app, while businesses can access a guarded provider-network dashboard.
Discover providers by service and place, request work directly or from eligible providers, and retain a clearer record of the request lifecycle.
Join through dedicated onboarding, represent services and availability, receive requests and build a history of responsiveness and completed work.
Property teams can use organization-scoped provider discovery and guarded bulk-request workflows; access, category coverage and quotas are checked rather than assumed.
Improve search quality, provider profiles, request acceptance, messages, notifications, tracked booking state, reviews and safety reporting across the cities and categories currently in scope.
Use privacy-preserving demand and supply signals to understand where customers cannot find help, make provider onboarding clearer, and support repeatable property or business sourcing without loosening account or quota controls.
Expand only when pilot demand, reliable provider supply, response quality and operational support justify it. More places or categories are not a substitute for a working local marketplace.
Nyumba connects customers with independent providers. Provider responsibilities, pricing, availability, insurance and compliance remain with those providers unless a specific future service contract says otherwise.
Tracked requests, reporting and audit trails can create accountability. They do not replace personal judgement, emergency services or a claim that every person on a marketplace is guaranteed safe.
Discovery and business insights should minimise personal data, distinguish contact intent from outcomes, and keep private provider documents behind authorized access.
